    bfm...sorry for your loss.
hi to everyone else.hugs to you all.

been off here ages and am sorry that i cant read all the posts i missed cos there are sooo many.
went to funeral on fri.was lady i knew for years, think she was in late 70s, not sure. still a shock, although she had been ill for many years.her dh looked very grastly and very old.know that was to be expected but i was still shocked at how bad he looked.hes been battling stomach cancer and is ok but has taken its toll.
also got cough back and have lost all control of the little pelvic floor retention i had...(ladies of a certain age will know what im on about, welcome to the tenalady club!!!!)......seriously its a pain and an embarrassment, espec at nite.have been on sofa for 2 nites.dh says see dr but apart from doling out more crabby cough stuff,he does squat all else.am ok all day till i lay down ,even propped up with pillows.will just be nodding off and then nearly choke cos i start coughing really bad as if from nowhere.am reaaly peed off with it now, and so is dh.am sure he thinks i put it on for effect, i wish.!!!

    take care all.
    love igd xx

Hey Guys.....bit maudlin today I'm afraid...heard a friend from 'way-back-when' lost her fight with the Big C yesterday :o & it has caused me to look at my own mortality once more.

I'm supposed to be losing weight & taking more exercise, but when things like this happens....makes you wonder if there's any point. Why not just live Life to the full & bu88er the consequence:confused: I don't think I'm scared of the Final Sleep....but not so sure I could leave the offspring with a tangled web of debt & misery cuz I didn't take responsibility for making sure I stayed around for the longest time possible.

    Now my head hurts......

    Peaceful Minds folks. BMFx

Had a crazy weekend. Had the viewers round but don't think they want to buy.

Yesterday went to look at a house from the outside to rent. We saw the owners and they want to go direct. I presume we are OK doing that but there is another 'person' interested but offered a much lower rent. Why can't things be easier?

I have this rotten cold that is making me feel so rough when I wake up, I don't feel great anyway first thing but this is beyond feeling rough. I'm OK once I'm awake, except the odd dizzy spell. My OH was better yesterday.

I am so depressed by what I see in the rental section. Anything for one person is worse than a battery chicken farm and anything I like is suitable for families. I can afford them but it seems odd having to get a big place to get the quality/peace I need. I don't want a place that is attached as I have had noise problems with people when I have lived in them. It is so much easier and cheaper to get a nicer bigger place for 2-3 of us, and can justify doing this.

ccstar, sorry to hear looking at houses is making you more depressed, i guess i am lucky in that my council house is lovely, except the neighbours, and i'm collecting quotes on soundproofing, stuff the expense, this is one thing i'm classing as a priority in regards to spending, as she sometimes drives me insane lol
