Lily of the valley when to plant out?

I have some lily of the valley which has been in a pot for a few years but i would now like to plant it out in a bed. When is the best time to do this? My wife thinks its after its flowered. Could it be planted now when it is completely dormant?
I'm a greenfield sight for sore eyes, and sore eyes are just needing the light, the shapes, and the shadows of the space we share, before it splits into Thin Air.

Yep, so long as the ground isn't waterlogged you could plant now. If it's been in a pot for a while, you likely find untangling the roots a chore but giving each plant some space would reinvigorate them, along with forking in some blood fish and bone.0
