Natwest Debit Card Query

I'd be grateful if someone from Natwest, or one of you knowledgeable MSE members could answer a query on Natwest Debit cards.

In the past the debit cards appear to have referenced the type of Natwest Current account that was held, Basic, Private etc. Is this still the case?

Do they now just issue a straight forward purple debit card without account designation being referenced?

    Thanks Florida,

I opened an account recently and got a blank purple card - just wondered if they still marked up the cards? Looks like they might?

My NatWest account opened in September 2013 came with a purple contactless visa debit card. No reference to account type.

I believe only the basic account cards are marked with the account name, perhaps because of their limited use?

The only debit cards that make reference to the account type is basic and private accounts.

Other wise your card will be blue or purple depending on your credit profile.
