Roof bars- will these fit our car?

Hi,
We have a ford focus, sport, hatchback, 07 plate. We've been looking for roof bars to fit.
Someone on a local FB page has offered us their roof bar kit but it's coming off a 51 plate focus.
She's saying her husband is saying they will definitely fit and that he knows his stuff, I'm not 100% convinced, does anyone know for sure?
I don't want to buy them and then discover they don't fit.

They will not fit, Mk1 focus hooks between the door and roof, Mk2 screws into the black strips on the roof.0
