Who do I take faulty car to?
Car has started reporting a fault today and is running rough - cut out a couple of times too
It is still under warranty from second hand garage, but I had it serviced this week by an independent garage who specialise in that make of car and reported no faults.
I reckon the car (when cold) was underpowered - there is a hill near where I live that I regularly go up at the start of my daily commute, and there was something about the cars performance that made me think the car was struggling very slightly but nothing major - and since "new" the fuel consumption has been 10% worse than an identical model that I had before. Those performance issues predate the service - but the service did not mention there was a problem [though I only asked about those issues when I picked car up]
So who do I take the car to - cause I can foresee the possibility that the selling garage may point out that it has been serviced and the faults are caused by them - despite the selling garage provideing a warranty

Why would they. They were there to service the car, that's all. If you wanted them to look into the issues the time to mention was before you took it in. If you think you have a problem then take it back to the garage you bought it from.but the service did not mention there was a problem [though I only asked about those issues when I picked car up]0
