Need a Wi-fi printer

Our old HP is playing up so need a home printer with Wi-fi. Must have separate black cartridge as this is what we mainly use.
Must be able to print on card without jamming, our last 3 have had trouble with this after a few months use, (2 HP and 1 Cannon).
Thanks for looking.

The trouble with many printers is that the paper feed in and the exit tray are both on the front, and the paper bends through 360 degress on its path through. This leads to troubles with card.

Look for those that feed from the rear.

What is the weight of the card you are using?

Probably outside of what you're thinkng of spending, but a number of the mid range Epson printers have a specific "specialist" paper feed, for example the XP-750 (around £!30 but epson have a cash back offer on), has a feed for normal paper, a feed for photo paper and at the rear (in the traditional printer paper position) a feed for card, although it can only take one sheet of card at a time from memory.

Basically have a look at the mid range printers with a rear paper feed, it tends to be less prone to jamming with heavier paper (and card) than the front paper feed systems that seem to be getting more common now (largely I suspect as with a front paper feed you can make the printer smaller).

Thanks for comments, the card is about 220gms I think, not too heavy.

Have seen an Epson Epson Expression Home XP-212 on Amazon for under £50,has the rear loading. What do you think?

Well I got an Epson XP-312 and installed it today. Lots of problems with the Talk Talk router, changing channel etc. But all now OK and printed on card fine.
