I was due to complete with the sale of my house on friday but the mining search had not been done. The house had a mining claim in 1990 just for cosmetic work, plastering and painting which i have all the paperwork for. So told my solicitor to forward the paperwork to the buyers solicitor so they could take alook and hopefully speed things up.
The report didnt come back that morning so we did not complete but the buyers solicitor said they would have to report this to the mortgage lenders
then the report came back later that day all clear because the claim was in 1990 and the mining search only goes back to 1994.
nothing showed up on the survey. now im not sure how the mortgage lenders will see this?
please could anybody advise on this?
