B/card will now uphold any PPI complaint for any M/Stanley PPI sold before 1/1/2008.

I work for B/card PPI complaints team.
B/card will now uphold any PPI complaint for Morgan Stanley PPI policy, which were sold before 1/1/2008. It does not matter whether the PPI was an advised or non-advised sale...all will be upheld. For info, the vast majority of Morgan Stanley cards were sold before 1/1/2008.
They have advised us that any cases, which B/card have rejected, will be re-opened and the customers will be sent an uphold letter with the correct redress amount.
I don't know when or whether this will happen. I suggest that anyone effected try to fast-track this process by contacting B/card to raise a new complaint with the words 'I wish to complain that I was mis-sold PPI before 2008 for my Morgan Stanley credit card'. This will be treated as a generic complaint, which will warrant an uphold, and please, if possible, do not involve any CMCs to raise the complaint.
