Online savings accounts - Opened Offshore

Hi, i am offshore, not living in the UK, so no UK address. But i want to open an onshore savings account primarily serviced via the internet....

The higher the interest rate the better obviously. Are there any providers who will allow me to open an account while overseas?

I am with the Nationwide, but i have an overseas address so they will allow me to maintain my one account with them but not allow me to open anew account, same with Virgin Money.

I don't want an offshore account.

Cheers

Don't think you will find anyone who will allow non-residents to open new accounts.
  • There are quite a few onshore UK banks that will accept non-resident clients. Start with the Indians, then try Investec, Yorkshire, Scottish Widows and various others.

I dont think you will find a building society that will have you. More fool them.
