Yesterday i was running jailbroken iOS 5.1.1 & amongst other things i had a custom ringtone on there. It'd been that long that i'd forgotten how i even put it on there.
I updated to iOS 7 & i lost the ringtone off my phone which i'm now wanting to put back on but can't remember how.
I just tried plugging my phone in, opening iTunes, clicking the "tones" tab under my phone & Syncing selected tones.
I then get the message saying this is synced with another account (on my PC) & i can erase the entire phone if i want & sync with this library. Thing is there's so much i would end up losing.
So how do i get this ringtone on my phone?

What you have is two problems.
1. That the phone is synced with another account.
2. The missing ringtone.
Why not use the original account?
If not then I'm not sure what your options are as I don't have an iPhone. I suspect that you need a backup, then sync with the new computer and then restore your stuff. I'm sure someone who knows will be along soon to tell you how to do this.
Do you still have a copy of the ringtone to use when you've solved problem 1?
You can create ringtones easily in iTunes. Copy any music track or sound you want, select the part you want for the ringtone, it can only be a Max of 30 seconds long, and cut the rest of the track. Rename the resulting file to .m4r and you're done. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Not too sure either of those problems are correct tbh.
The ringtone is only missing from the phone. It's in my iTunes library.
I also restored the phone from a backup, which contained the tone, but for some reason wasn't put back on.
As for the phone being synced with another account - it's only with my account, nobody elses. Nobody else touches this phone so i'm not sure why it's not accepting my account.0
