CPP letter

Hi

I have received a letter a couple of times in the post regarding PPI. I originally ignored the first letter as I was worried it was a scam. But I have received another one.

It's not from a bank it's from these people:
cppredressscheme.co.uk

Is it legit? Do I have a pay these people for anything? Will they take a cut of any if any money (if any!)?

Years ago I had card protection so I fall into the category of having PPI but don't know anymore than that or how I go about claiming anything legit.

Any advice would be appreciated.

    Yes it is legit, FCA-approved and free. It affects up to 7m people. Further details are to be found on the main site, in the forum and at the CPP link you posted.

    It's to do with mis-selling relating to protecting cards against loss or theft, and identity protection: so it's different from PPI.
