    Well I'm just looking at letter heads for an example right now.

    I've been looking at this;

    http://www.ricoh.co.uk/products/printers/colour/spc320dn.aspx?view=specification

    Which is about £70 colour ink and £50 for black and they print 2800 per set of toner carts.

    Now does that mean I work it as 4 carts so up to 10,000 pages per every time I need to top up or do I look at that as 2,800 for black and 2,800 for colour?

    I wonder how they work out that its '2,800' pages.

    I'd go laser if it's for a business you will be deducting it from tax.

    It's 2800 pages assuming pages use both colour and black.

    They work out the yield by printing the IEC test pages continuously until the toner runs out, and 90% of the time you should get the yield quoted.

    If you want to print letterheads you're often better to get them colour printed by offset litho by the 10,000 and then just use a black laser for the typing.

    Thanks just wanted to confirm this 2800 pages as I noticed I said per set when every toner says it prints 2800 pages. It seems expensive at .14 a page at that price my printer supplier would be cheaper.
