Walk-in larder units

I bought my kitchen from wickes today. It comes in the Amilia (was the display one) and Tiverton Bone (which we went for). There is another one but I can't remember which. The unit is massive but it's lovely, I can't wait for it to come.
Saved about £500 on it in the sale, over £1000 full price :eek:0 -
Hi Everyone
Thanks for all of your responses. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back on here. As you've probably guessed I'm new on here and I couldn't even find the post
I just love this walk in larder cupboard, I would definitely say there is more storage space than walk in space. I am planning on putting all of my food in this one cupboard! There is plenty of shelf space and I'd like to get a little 'pull along' wire shelf rack that I can use to put my vegetables on
The range that I would like it in is the Caledonia, but as everyone says it isn't available in many ranges.
Nikki2804 how long is it until your kitchen gets delivered? I got a quote for my kitchen on Saturday and they told me i'd have to wait 10 weeks for delivery!

My delivery is scheduled for 26th April so roughly 7.5 weeks. I could have picked a date a little earlier but that one suited best.
Are they allowing you to get the sale prices? We were told they could hold it for a few days if we couldn't decide, only asking because the larder unit is horribly expensive so the 1/3rd off makes it a bit better.
Hassle as well. We saved around 5k by the time we got all the discounts applied. They were throwing everything at us because the sale ended on the 8th. 1/3rd off units then 10% off entire order then some other discount on the appliances (getting a range cooker -can't wait :j)0 -
Oooowww I bet you are sooooooo excited :j
Our quote was supposed to end on the Sunday, but she said she could honour it until 9th.
I had 2 quotes, 1 with granite worktops and 1 with no worktops. It worked out that the granite would cost us a total of £5700. Then I got a quote from another local company and the total cost was £1980! Granted I haven't actually seen the local company's granite, which I would do before I placed an order, but for Wickes to be almost 3 times more expensive does seem a little excessive
I must say the lady I dealt with at Wickes was very helpful and didn't get at all annoyed with me changing my mind all of the time. I'm afraid I'm one of those that has to have symmetry so I can't have different sized units! I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end

Wickes is very expensive for granite, the designer even told us to get it elsewhere however after investigating we decided to just go for a laminate hd worktop as granite seemed to much upkeep, very pretty though. I may replace the laminate with granite in the future.
I know what you mean, unfortunately mine isn't going to be symmetrical but it flows ok (I hope). Now I just need to pick new tiles and flooring before the 26th. Oh and a sink, I felt that the sinks were stupidly priced for what they were :rotfl:
I'm already planning my shopping list to fill the larder :j0
