    Afternoon Beauty Queens

    A few UUs chez Whizz...

UU #39: Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate and Somethingorother Bar 100g; WNBA, this is the last one, it was OK but I prefer the original variety for reasons I shan't go into :o The smell reminded me of a BS soap I had when I was wee, maybe in the shape of a polar bear?! One sniff and I was 8 again :D

UU #40: Sainsburys Anti Dandruff Shampoo 200ml; WBA, DH uses this despite my protests. 4 more in stash :o

UU #41: Astonish Silke Soft Handwash 300ml; WDNBA, this stuff was horrible! Sent DH to Homebase for something and asked him to nip next door to the M&S for some handwash, he came back with this and said, "They had this in Homebase, it was only £1 and it saved me a trip". Cue much admonishing for being a lazy toad. It dried my hands out to the point I had to stop using it and revert to a L'Occitane bar instead. Oh, the hardship (again). Replaced with an Imperial Leather handwash in Japanese Spa 'flavour'

UU #42: Sanex Dermo Invisible Anti Perspirant Spray 250ml; WDNBA, I used to use this all the time but about a year ago I switched to roll ons. Found this in the back of the cupboard when I was compiling my stash list and wish I hadn't. Doesn't seem to stop me sweating and it does not wash off. I have had to literally scour my pits every day in the shower. Just, ugh. Replaced with a partially used Garnier Minerals roll on which I may or may not have hugged before putting into the bathroom cabinet. Welcome back, old friend, I've missed you :D

Not liking the VO5 treatment mask I got for my hair; it's supposed to be intensive but I am using it every wash and it seems less effective than 'normal' conditioner. DH likes the smell though.

    Dear all,
Apologies in advance for being cheeky but I'm doing some volunteering for a charity at the moment and they are organising a pamper evening - full details here
    http://www.beacon4blind.co.uk/how-you-can-help/fundraising-events/keep-calm-and-be-pampered/
If anyone has anything they would like to donate who is based in the Midlands I would be so grateful - tombola prizes etc. I'll be having a sort out myself this weekend - and probably restocking at the event!

PM me if you can help - as I say very grateful and I hope no one minds me posting.
    Thanks

Throwing away TBS coconut oil hair shine. I've been trying to use it for a little while, but it's not shiny, it's greasy. Don't get much benefit from it.

Is this the hard one in the round flat tin?
If it is I put a teeny bit through my ends when they are looking a little under the weather just to smooth things out a little :) x

I don't know if LE still give away free C&P sample but I would email them if I were you. Their Customer Service is brilliant so they should reply fairly quickly for you.

I'm planning on emailing them later to give feedback on the body lotion sachet I had. Have UUed the sachet this morning and am so impressed by the quantity that was in there. As mentioned yesterday I'm not a fan of this fragrance but would give the Begamot and Ginger one a go (of course once all my other lotions and potions are gone!!).

For Yankee Candles I would recommend https://www.yankeedirect.com. They have bulk buy discounts that you can mix and match on the tarts and a loyalty scheme. I usually order mine from there. The only other place that I buy my YC from is our local outlet.

Thanks Val, I might just order it's not too expensive anyhow :)

I've had a look at yankee direct and found a lovely tart burner which I think mum will like. I might have bought a few more from Asda today and some reduced Christmas scents as well..:o

had a n order a couple of weeks ago of C&P and they sent me a small C&P with cloth

    Thanks Rosemary :)

As predicted my lemony flutter cuticle butter bit the dust last night. WNBA because the tub is so large you'd never finish it by just using it on cuticles. I've had it for just over a year and the scent and texture had changed. It was too greasy for cuticles and I hated the smell but it works great on feet!

A few INs today but much needed! I bought Loreal ever pure, ever sleek and ever riche shampoos on 3 for 2 as mine is spluttering and I don't have any spares. I do have a few odds and ends of conditioners as I seem to go through way more shampoo than conditioner! 3 bottles should keep me going until 2015 (I hope!)

Also a wilkinson sword razor as I am down to my last 2 disposables

I also avoided lush (probably because I spent too much on candles!:o) and had a very NPI involving some blistex that was a pound. I thought of my frankly embarrassing stash at home and said "it'll still be here when I need it" and walked away:j

    So that's 4 ins and 4 outs!

Evening ladies. I am very happy it's the weekend

Hope everyone is well. Interesting reading peoples thoughts on the MUA primers. I tried the matte one but didn't like it so gave it away. Perhaps I should have persevered as I only used it a few times.

Dolly I too love the Max Factor blush in soft pink. It's lovely. I have used it loads and still haven't made a dent in it!

Someone mentioned not liking the feel of make up on their skin. I don't like the feel of anything on my lips but am trying to get used to it as I hate how dry my lips get plus I like the look of lipstick (and have a drawer full to UU :rotfl:)

    1 UU -

35 - Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo 200ml - wba and already have.

    1 IN -

60 - Stila palette that I bought cheap on Ebay, has matte blushers in which I was after.
  • A load of UU's tonight, pleasantly suprised now :)

Clinique Deep Comfort WNBA, years old GWP but finally opened it and bit the bullet, didn't like it and didn't feel it done much for me.

Lush Charity Pot WMBA, Friend got me this for Christmas, I do like the smell but again it doesn't seem to do much for my skin. I need a thicker body lotion for my dry skin. Might be better to use in summer.

Lush Candy Mountain Bubble bar WDBA, Lush only sell them at Christmas time, but lucky me I still have 5 in my stash to get through! (Which will probably take me up till when they start selling them again, lol!)

Lush Secret Santa Bath bomb WNBA, massive bath bomb...and if I remember right this was pretty pricey at Christmas time. The only reason I bought it was because it was half price in the boxing day sale. Didn't have much of a scent to it, though it did turn the bath a nice colour.

Well my Avon order arrived this morning and I've just sorted out all my customer orders and realise that along with a face mask, I'd ordered myself 2 x nail polishes

I only know this coz I can't see them on any customers orders:eek: I'm so so bad!
