Joint Mortgage after bankrupcy?

I'm in the process of starting bankrupcy proceedings. My partner, who is debt free and solvent would like us to get a mortgage in the next couple of years (I'm 36, she's 26). With house prices spiralling out of control I was wondering if there's any way that my income/salary could be included on a joint mortgage after bankrupcy? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the answer to your question, I guess asking a whole of market mortgage broker they might know. You might want to ask on the debt free wannabe board as they have a special section for people going through what you are, so they'd have a better idea of how possible it is.

Whilst you are bankrupt you are not allowed to get credit over £100 i think it is.

When you are discharged after 3 years you are then able to get credit but no-one actually wants to give you any !!

A FA would be able to help on the options after your discharge but until then you are not legally allowed to have any credit.
It's not paranoia if they really are after you.
