Thanks Kerry, I have been attempting to do the NSD thing myself, but haven't really been counting and I had no idea this thread was here until now!

This weekend is really busy so not much chance of a NSD but next week should be great!!

I'll keep up in here until the April one kicks in :)

    Thanks for the warm welcome!

    Yesterday was NSD #23

That takes me to 50 so far this year, against my annual target of 150 :T I would be whooping with complete delight, but I need to be ahead of the game as I have 8.5 weeks through Sept/Oct/Nov when I won't get a single one

Spend day today. Been out for milk for DS1 (got 2 lots to see him into the start of next week with a bit of luck) and fresh bits for my weekend away (fruit and veg all allowed, but also picked up cold meats for sandwiches which aren't). And I paid my phone bill early (seeing as my provider give me 15% discount for paying within 24 hours of it being issued instead of waiting for them to take the D/Debit, and the email arrived early yesterday afternoon). This one would have been taken next month, so in theory I should now be able to gain an extra NSD in April (and have the potential for a run of up to 10 from 5th-14th).

Food festival tomorrow means it's extremely unlikely to be an NSD even though the tickets are already booked (paid for by OH as we booked on a day I was keeping as an NSD ;) ) and we're hoping to get onto a free carpark.

Sunday and Monday are 'wait and see' days as it depends on what we decide to do......

Today was the first NSD of the week, due to various things we paid out on / bought. I'm hopeful I will meet the target for March, as there shouldn't be much need for spending for the next couple of days

    So that's NSD 14

:o although one or both might go back. Also got a top, necklace and some leggings in primarni (current leggings I have from NL which aren't particularly old look like they belong to Nora Batty about the knees, not overly happy as last pair I had from there were fab ) oh and £6.50 on parking

It's never too late to join, but even if you don't want to set a target for the last days of March, stick around and enjoy the chat. A new thread for April will be set up by one of the lovely thread guardians and a link to it is usually posted on here. Welcome aboard! X

There's lots you can do without spending, picnics (outside or even in the living room if it's raining), nature walks, treasure trails (not sure how old your kids are so not quite sure what might be appropriate) do you have any club card or nectar points you could look to use for something? Failing that, is there any wiggle room in the budget? Our local Odeon does cheap tickets on a Tues and 25% off odeon club members on a Monday. Perhaps you could look to be creative with the grocery money and free up some pennies that way?
