Are you on a computer or tablet type machine? If on a computer, which brower are you using?
I'm on a PC and use Internet Explorer.I hope that that answers the question!Saver-upper wrote: »Right.......
New month,new rules for Saver-upper:
This month I am going to exclude milk, bread and petrol when deciding whether to declare a NSD.
(While planning this post,I did originally type "fruit" instead of "petrol".Then I thought about excluding both when considering NSD-so have 4 items excluded. But then, where would I draw the line?)
So for this month's exercise,am excluding petrol, and will just have to buy more fruit at a time.
In light of my loosening up of the NSD definition,am going to raise the aim to 12 NSD's :eek:.
I hope March is a long month.
Can someone please just confirm that March has about 36 days :rotfl::rotfl:
It's really up to you and what you feel comfortable with.
I can confirm that March has 36 days!
BTW,to celebrate the new month,Igor has thoughtfully rustled up a pilchard, ferret and manky mushroom medley with wild mice, sorry rice and has also unearthed some of his famed Brussel sprouts curry from last year (or it might be from the year before. He's a bit vague on the details...).It's his way of helping us avoid buying lunch and hopefully snaffle an nsd today.
It's so yummy that it might help you lose your appetite over the next few days, and take to your bed,so there's less chance of spending. That's how thoughtful he is.There's lots to go around,so please drop by....0 -

Happy first of March, white rabbits and all that!
And don't forget it's open house at Ennessdee Towers tonight, celebrating St Dave's Day, but get there early, before marmite wolfs down all the Brussels sprout curry. One life - your life - live it!0 -

Thanks nargle.Don't worry, there'll be enough for you. He's got a secret stash which he keeps hidden in an old chamberpot under his bed.So there's more than enough to go around.
Pudding by the way,is his own deluxe fruit slice, aka fly cemetries.A bold, new take on a beloved Scottish pastry.
I might not actually be having any myself.I'm still recovering from being too close to him when he took the lid off the container....The doc says that, all being well,I'll be fully recovered in a few weeks...Just in time for my birthday bash....You'll never guess who the caterers are (sob)...0 -

I forgot to mention that the much awaited ferret, daffodil and leek spring medley will unfortuanately not be on the menu, due to a mix up in the kitchen.Hubert offers his apologies and says it won't happen again...0 -

I know,I'm disappointed too.I did warn him not to try his own cooking....Come to think of it,Igor looked a bit green round gills too. That might be because he's been swiging from a bottle of his famous Turnip Surprise voddie since yesterday afternoon. He can really hold his drink.Careful with those knives Igor!!!!Maybe you should lie down for a while...0 -

Mini spendy day today, but am trying to stick to a set budget for each week food-wise. I drew some cash out today and paid for the odds and sods in cash, so fingers crossed I won't need to buy anything else for several days - the cupboards and freezer are chock full. Will do the meal plans for the month later and see how it looks on paper.
Oh, and DS checked my Euro Grottery ticket from last night, and he says I have 3 numbers which is worth nine pound something.....Zip-a-dee-doo-dah! More dosh to the coffers!
Kerri - Igor was so touched and saddened to think of you sobbing your heart out at missing his cuisine that he is out in the kitchen now whipping up a batch of his daffodil fondant cupcakes for you. He intends to send them round to you by special courier with a huge red rose, seeing as he missed St Val's Day last month, being so busy with making 97 portions of St Valentine's Day Moussaka...which not one of you rotters ate...not that he's miffed, of course, Hubert more than enjoyed the leftovers and didn't even mind having his stomach lavaged afterwards.....One life - your life - live it!0
