LG 42PX5D plasma any good??

I am looking to buy a 42" plasma. Was holding off for a panasonic TH42PX600, but have come across this LG one 42PX5D, anyone know if this is any good?? Have found it for £599 compared to the £998 panasonic

A quick Google search finds this four page review.
Their final verdict is:

While the 42PX5D doesn’t challenge the plasma world’s top dogs for picture quality, it has got more than enough in its favour to make its £1700 price tag look like a steal.

I imagine it was written a while ago before prices came down.

I've just ordered a Panasonic Viera. They've had very good reviews.
