Dear All,
I am going to buy for my niece the Apple Macbook Pro from a Premium Dealer Stormfront in Wimbledon London. She needs reassurance because she is self employed and it is her life line, that when she takes out the Apple 3 year Protection Plan,
She has been told if she has a problem she can go anywhere in the world to a authorised dealer can get fixed or repaired.
And telephone support in any country.
Trying to read all Apple T&C is very time consuming.
Can anyone shed any light on his to see if this is true.
Thanking you in advance from a Newbie.

Yeah, applecare is extremely good: it's much more akin to enterprise maintenance agreements than some sort of shady extended warranty.
It is, however, quite expensive. If you have any route to a higher education discount (which is about 80%: I think I paid 30 quid for three years on an Air) then use it.
Money saving tip: most people don't need the pro, the Air is massively cheaper.0
