Credit Resolution Services - Letter

Options
Hi all

Looking for some help please. The OH got a latter today in her name (apart from its addressed to a Mrs and she is a Miss) from the above company for £382.68 owed to Rush Fitness.

She has googled who they appear to be a gym in Uxbridge.

She has never lived in Uxbridge, let alone taken out a gym membership there. What is the best way to approach this? Write them a letter? Email? Phone them?

Will she need to provide evidence to prove its not her?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Likely just sending out to people with the same or similar name scattter gun approach to trying to find the correct person).

Either ignore and get her check her credit file to ensure nothing has been added in relation to this.

Or send the prove it letter - Letter when you know nothing about about the debt - AKA "Prove it" letter (and still check her credit files).

no she doesn't need to prove its not her debt, they would have to provide proof it was.
