Co-op Smile Credit Card PPi Reclaim -no trace of credit agreement

Hi,

Im new to the forum and hoping for a bit of advice.

I took out a credit card with Smile (coop) back in 1999.

I wrote to them the other week when I discovered I was paying ppi requesting a copy of my credit agreement and also terms and conditions.

Today I received a response which included a statement confirming that I am paying PPI.

However they also said that they cannot find any trace of my credit agreement.

Unsure as to what to do next. I cannot recall if I took the credit card out by completing online application form and if the box was pre-ticked or not. Also if they cann;t locate a credit agreement can they enforce the outstanding debt?
