Papa John's endless spam!!!

Options
I kept getting their annoying texts after phoning through an order.

I got hold of their CS and told them to stop it as I didn't give permission to it.

I got another one shortly afterwards so I threatened to bill them for my wasted time having to contact them and they said they'd have me removed from their mailing.

I today got some crap about being a pizza lover from them in the post!

I wan't to bill them but I'm not sure I can. What can I do???!!!

It doesn't really annoy me when I get junk mail or spam. What annoys me is when they take my information without my permission, disregard the MPS or TPS and contact me with stuff I don't care about...and their pizza isn't that great anyway!

Put it in the recycle bin on the way out to work in the morning. It's junk mail.

What exactly would you be billing them for? How much time could you have possibly wasted in £ by asking them to stop spamming you.
What a ridiculous thing to even say.

His name is Mr !!!!!!, enough said.
Also both those reports where over 1 year ago - its hardly gone mainstream due to the red tape involved. But if you have the free time then knock yourself out...

    ...please.

It's two different cases. Mr !!!!!! got £750 and in the 2nd link, a Mr Herman got £195 and £25 court costs which shows that it can be done.

Have to agree with the op they are horrendous and continual, no matter how many times you unsubscribe, I get both emails, home post an mobiles, not so much now after a few strongly worded emails
  • I get these texts from Dominos and a local take away too, but I just delete them and don't give them much thought. I get more annoyed at these PPI texts and automated calls

Anyway, maybe you could post on their Facebook page where other customers will see and they might do more about it as it will be seen more publicly? Just an idea!

Are they addressed to you, or just leaflets that the postman puts through?
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
    Now 20% cooler

i get recurring texts from domino's to, but mostly with an offer or a discount code. For example, - I ordered for a family treat one night, only came to about 19 - 20 quid. A couple of days later, got a text saying thanks for the order, here is a code for 50% of a 25 quid spend. Came in very useful when my 2 daughters had a sleep over at their dance school. I think it saved them over 150 quid. Can't speak for pappa john, but can't recommend domino's enough. Maybe a little stingy on their toppings, but they do make the best pizza's!

p.s, it's quite a big dance school....- hence the huge food bill!!

Pappa John's was awful. The garlic dip smells like it is just crushed garlic in white sauce.
