Quidco "Upgrade and get double cashback"

Last weekend, on their homepage, they advertised that if you upgraded to their Premium service over the weekend, you'd get double cashback on purchases made then. I was going to make a purchase from M&S and saw that the standard cashback was increased from 3% to 5% so thought I'd upgrade to get 10%. However the cashback only tracked at 6% and they are now saying that the "double" rate only applied to the 3% rate even though the 3% rate wasn't available during the weekend.
Anybody else get taken in by the misleading home page advertising?
Wish I had stuck with TCB as usual.
