I believe Pampers baby wipes are good for sprucing up UPVC, not tried it myself but I have a friend who is an installer and he recommends them.Signature No Longer acceptable -

If you want to restore rather than just clean the UPVC you need to remove the oxidised layer from the surface of the plastic. Oxidisation is caused by sunlight and happens to all plastics and paints throughout their lifespan. It's why paint on cars can go dull or look chalky. The best product to do this would be a cutting compound such as Tcut or similar. Brasso is the same stuff so if you have some of this lurking in a cupboard try a small area first. Once you have restored the UPVC it's worth going over it with a good quality car polish which has a UVA inhibitor in it (yes it's suntan lotion and they do put it in car polish). This will protect it from the sun and also make rainwater bead and run off. Hope this helps. My friend drowned in a bowl of muesli.
He was pulled in by a strong currant.0
