Lloyds - Can't set up new payment recipient

Never had a problem with this before but I'm trying to make a payment today and it keeps coming up with this error when I ask it to phone me to verify the new recipient:
9200175 : Unfortunately there has been a technical problem. This transaction has not been completed.
Tried 3 different browsers. Is this a problem at their end?

  • Could well be, why don't you give them a call to find out?
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

Well it seems like you've tried everything at your end, so quite possibly. Maybe the PC that telephones you requires a reboot? I'm sure the very best technical engineers have been alerted and are working on the problem as we type.

Just got a text from Lloyds saying they've had some problems with the call-to-verify procedure and it should be fixed now.
