ctc and new job

DH started a new job on monday, working for a bank. he will be earning the same in his new job as in his last job, but he will be able to earn bonuses in his new job worth upto £2000 per quarter.
i need to ring tax credits on monday to inform them of the change in circumstances, but how do i tell them of the bonus? he might not even get that much or even any at all. if i overestimate them then my ctc will go down but if i underestimate then i will end up with an overpayment.
any advice?

personally i would tell them about the bonuses to start off with, and then at the end of the first quarter if he hasn't earned the bonus you can phone and adjust your figures
as i've just said in another thread, i phone them a lot about changes as i do not want to be overpaid and have to pay anything back0
