Points gone from my licence...

I had a sp50 on my licence from January 2013. It was hand written on the licence by the court in Scotland.

I recently passed my bike test and the licence was sent off by the DSA office where I passed my test. The new licence arrived today with no endorsements.

Technically I have no points on my licence, but what would you do?

Might be worth waiting until you can check your license online, next month?.

Yeah when the insurers have access they will probably see the points still active so i wouldnt think of forgetting them if i were you.
Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...

  • Years ago I had points handwritten on my license, when I sent off for a new one, it came back with them in print. So if yours are not showing, my guess is they have been lost. Moral dilema for you but if it caught up with you in the future and you had not declared them, you would have a problem. Who's to say that this admin error will not be discovered and silently corrected at some point. Personally, I would continue to delcare them for 5 years from the endorsment.
  • I'm going to wait and see what comes up when access online is available. They are declared on my current insurance anyway as that was renewed in December.
