ebay UK page won't scroll - not responding message

I can load Ebay UK OK, but if I try to scroll down the page once loaded, I get an Ebay not responding message, every time. I haaave a PC, am using Internet Explorer to browse, running Wind7 pro (latest version) and have an ie5 processor and 8g ram. Anyone got any ideas?
