Cancelling Factory Reset Order for Nexus 7

Evening all
Basics:
On Sunday I misplaced my Nexus 7 tablet, somewhere when out on a day-trip to Margate, I registered it as lost property on the Southeastern trains website as I thought it was lost around the station area.
As I didn't think the odds of getting the tablet back was high using Android Device Manager I ordered a factory reset for the next time the tablet is connected to the internet (if someone managed to get though the security).
Anyhow I received a phone call from the lost property office today, and they have found my tablet, which I'm going up to collect on Friday afternoon.
The question I want to ask is there any way to cancelling the factory reset order sent by Android Device Manager?

If it turns out you can't cancel the request (and a quick search didn't give any immediate answer) then I'd suggest you remove any SIM if it has one and turn off your home WiFi before you power it up. If you have no backup software on it then I guess all you will be able to do is copy off any media you've put on it to your computer otherwise just take a backup.
The reset won't lose any Play Store purchases as you'll be able to download them without having to pay again although downloading them will be a PITA.
Was just looking and saw a complaint that all that was needed to stop the erase was to deselect the Android Device Manager in settings. Not sure where that is right now but you'll have time to play around and find it so long as there is no SIM or WiFi available.0 -
Thanks, I've disabled Android Device Manager, only thing left to do is turn on the wifi.0
