Is there congestion charge to go to Ikea Edmonton?

didnt think there was, but asked to borrow a friends old van and he said because of the size and age of it, he has to pay congestion charge? Any one know?

So he's probably right. Edmonton is inside the Low Emission Zone0 -

Not the Congestion Charge, but the Low Emission Zone. The CC doesn't go anywhere near Edmonton, but the LEZ does cover it - it covers every road in every London Borough, with the exception of a few motorway routes in.
And it'll cost £100 per day if the van isn't LEZ compliant...

Edmonton isn't in the CC zone, so it should be relatively straightforward to avoid that. What I suspect the friend is talking about is the London low emission zone, which is much wider than the CC zone.0
