Help, undercoat damaged car-How to remove.

Hi

The building by where I work has recently been sprayed with Crown Steel seal undercoat, this has blown over my car and does not come off with a good scrub and clean.

The windscreen feels like there is grit on it and all over the car.

Any ideas how to remove this.

I have spoken to the company and they are prepared to pay for work to rectify it which could be a re spray but I really don't want this as that would be a last resort.

Thanks

Google car detailing in your area.

Ideally you want someone who knows how to take care of the car's paint and some of the detailing people specialise in paint correction with any imperfections.

How long has it been on the car?
Some clay bars can remove it if it's not too severe but if they don't it might need buffed up by a machine polisher and some G3 cutting compound.

Go to your nearest bodyshop and see if it can be chemically cleaned, buffed and polished back to normal. If not, they can quote for the respray. The glass will be easily cleaned, the paintwork will not.
Spraying or even over-enthusiastic outdoor painting without clearing a very wide area is criminal in almost all weather conditions, so make sure you get their full details before these cowboys move on.
