Cruise Parking Southampton?

Wondered if anyone could suggest where to park in Southampton during a 13 day cruise. It seems as if it could cost as much as £150.
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you google "Park on my drive" you may get some moneysaving options.
Me? I'd factor the cruise company's preferred parking firm in to the cost of the holiday. Roll up, get your bags out, hand the keys over and get on the ship. Very convenient.0 -
Park in my drive, numerous hotels do park and stay as an option, but for pure convenience the official port parking can't be beaten, except a couple of years ago when it all went to pot and we waited for two hours to hand the car over!0

Depending on the cruise line you are going with, you will probably find that they may provide coach transfers to the port & back, at a cost.
We are based in the North East and when we went with Celebriity/Royal Carribean it cost us £105 each(there are two of us) which sounds very expensive, however, as I can't drive now I did not think it fair to ask my partner to drive 6/7 hours and then pay for a hotel and parking on top, then theres the petrol on a 350 ish mile each way trip. Plus, of course, its much more comfortable sitting reading the papers!
When the coach arrived at the port, our cases were transferred automatically on board, so you may want to enquire of your cruise line if this a possibility. In September, we're going with Celebrity from Harwich, this time is £112 each but I'll just bite the bullet and look forward to the all-inclusive drinks package!
You can always pm me.

2 one way car hires is an option. starts at around £50 each way.
The park on my drive will get as low as £3pd but £4-£5 is more common
hotels with parking are an option if traveling further.0 -
There have been reports of some dodgy sites offering parking and then leaving cars on wasteland or side streets so don't rush in and book before investigating their background.
We have always used the port side car parking but generally because the price was good at the time. If we hadn't got a discounted rate then I would probably have used a parking facility at Marchwood (Cruise Parking Limited) as they have had good reviews and have been in operation for a long time. They are located across the water from where the ships dock so transfers from parking to port can be around 20 minutes.
You can either book with them direct or via Holiday Extras https://www.holidayextras.co.uk and select the Other Extras tab for cruise parking.
If you are into cashback sites then both Quidco and Topcashback offer significant discounts for Holidayextras. I used them for booking hotel and parking at Heathrow and had no problems in getting the cashback payment.
Hope this helps.0 -
Some hotels in Southampton have stay and park deals. We used the Dolphin hotel and the deal included b & b parking for 14 nights and a taxi to the port. This was a few years ago and we are a family of 4. It worked out cheaper than parking at the port. HTH0

My wife and I travelled from the West Country and found a really good deal on a secure, private driveway in West Moors on Justpark costing us less than £20 per week.
The homeowner offers transfers to and from the Cruise terminal at very reasonable rates and being in West Moors the going rate is much cheaper than anything I found in Southampton itself.0
