Nikon or Polaroid

I am looking at investing in a bridge camera. The 2 that I like are the Polaroid IS2132 or the Nikon L820. THe Nikon has really good reviews, but I cant seem to find much about the Polaroid.

Polaroid only exist as a brand, that other people license for their low end products. Avoid avoid.

Not that i'd get a bridge camera though

My daughter has the Nikon referred to. I must confess that I was a bit "sniffy" when she got it - but I have to admit it 'aint a bad camera :o

I have had DSLRs and bridge cameras, and the thing with Nikon (and also Canon) is that because they are the two top selling manufacturers, you generally get less spec for the price, than other manufacturers.

However, I am unfamiliar with these two, so I looked on Amazon. The Nikon has good reviews but only 7 (I aim for 300+ reviews and 4.5 stars on Amazon), but the Polaroid has NO REVIEWS. I would never consider buying it with no reviews.

It also most likely means it's just been released. I tend not to buy any electronic or computer stuff that is this new. I like other people to be the guinea-pigs thank you, but in this case, if these two were the only cameras available, I would go with the Nikon.

(BUT also bear in mind that the first few reviews could also have been written by people at Nikon!)

I'm thinking of getting this camera, I've got £25 worth of nectar points to use so would only cost me £76 however I don't have a local Sainsburys.
