The Auto Protect on my Norton security keeps switching off.
I have installed and run the auto fix tool from Symantec but nothing changed. It then advised uninstalling and reinstalling the Norton which I did.
It worked fine for a while but is now switching off again. Can anyone help please?

I had so many problems with Norton a few years ago - used to work great for a while, then for no explicable reason go belly up like yours has done. But after 3 years of struggle (applying fixes/uninstalling/reinstalling) I gave up & switched to free alternatives with virtually no further problems, & my PC was a lot quicker for it too!
I do hope you'll find a fix that'll work for a long while. If not, you know what to do & not waste your time like I did! G0 -
I've used Norton for the past six years and every version i had used to do this now and again and tell me to uninstall tghen re-install. My advice ditch Norton !!!!!! I now use NOD32 its a great anti-virus package and it doesn't slow your PC down and cost alot less then Norton. Go to there site a try it for a month for free.Don't listen to the bad things about Vista its the best
Just because it's free don't mean it's good
Ditch Norton Now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wall:
Just Because you read it some where don't mean it's right0
