I've just been having a giggle reading through the 'malapropisms' thread on my favourite football site.

    Thought I'd share a few;-

    damp squid
    escape goat
    solemn oaf
    tempting faith
    baring a miracle
    fraudulent slip
    pass mustard
    mute point
    tow the line
    pedal stool
    dangerous president
    neon nazi
    mister meaners
    baron spell
    mask murderer.

I know some are a bit 'homophoney', but still funny.

5.55pm and a lender emails asking for documents I have already sent them - they have no record of it.

Funny thing is they asked me for 8 items originally, they have 2 of those items but not the other 6. They were all sent on the same email...

And they wonder why people get annoyed.

Even better - they asked for 2 months bank statements for one of the clients as they only have novembers... all 3 were in the same pdf!!!

Went out for a booze-up on Tuesday.

Started with pins and needles in outside of right hand.

Two days later and my right hand edge, third and little fingers are numb and i'm resigned to having carpal-tunnel syndrome.

Eleven years of heavy mouse usage and it looks like I'm off to the GP in the new year... :(

I was doing only localised ailments today. :D

The blood pressure, blood thinners, aspirin etc are a given. I may or may not have mentioned my "cross-eyed" Transient Ischeamic Attack in July 2012? :D

"First-world" (fat b*s**rd) problems excluded, of course. You're as thin as a rake T. You'll outlive the lot of us. If for no other reason than you're about twenty years younger...?

Ive put on half a stone in the last few weeks - mostly down to the gym though. Theres another thing, I dont smoke, im not overweight and go to the gym - just shows how stressful this job can be.

I dont think people realise how stressful it is and I probably write half as many as any other broker on here (although im on 7 for the month so far).
