Hi everybody. Sorry to bother you. I bought two beanbags online nd they were delivered on December 12th 2013.

They smelt very strongly of chemicals but assumed it was because they came wrapped in plastic so we ignored it. Within a couple of days we were getting noticeable headaches from laying on them, and when we unzipped the bag, the smell was unbearable. We thought the company would just say that the smell would wear off, so we moved them into another room with good ventilation and thought that would work. We are both busy with Christmas and work, so we only got around to checking them two weeks ago. They still smell, they still give us headaches and it clearly isn't going to wear off.

I emailed the company, explained the problem and asked for them to be collected and a full refund given. They replied that as per Distance Selling Regulations I was only entitled to a full refund within 7 working days and as this is the first times they had heard from me, they couldn't refund me. I replied that I wasn't getting a refund under the 7 day rule but because they were faulty and I quoted the relevant Sale of Goods Act section. They are ignoring me. I have now forwarded the same email three times and still no joy. What should my next move be? Send a letter to the company signed for to prove it arrived??

Many thanks
Michelle. x
