Sorry I didn't see the writing in the peach box in the corner, yes as you all say definitely "24hr All Inclusive" is stated so I would expect food and drink to be included in that.
I would not have expected room service to be included in the All Inclusive as it's not usually, but I would have expected at least one bar to remain open serving drinks and snacks that were included.
From looking at other agents sites and also the hotels own site there is no mention of 24 hour all inclusive so looks like a slip up on their side.
Just a point on this - I stayed in a hotel in Playa Mujeres (Mexico) and room service was included on all inclusive. I was astounded but it was premium drinks and 24hr room service (couldn't believe this bit) included as standard and the numerous restaurants were all a la carte all inclusive.
In fact even the minibar was all inclusive and re-stocked twice daily lol.

You will need to find out which options the hotel had for 24 hour AI. Haven't checked but if they have a nightclub for instance where you could have got food and drink this will cover their clams. Regardless- I do think what they have on their web page is misleading.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -
I'd also agree with the numerous posts above - looking at that page I'd say that was very misleading and for £3000+ I totally agree with picking a dispute!0

Last July I went on holiday with Thomson's to the Dominican Republic and stayed at the Cayo Levantado Don Pablo in Samana. This hotel was advertised as 24 hour All Inclusive but it was not for 24 hours.
I have written to Thomson's to say that they miss-sold the accommodation advertising that it was 24 hours All Inclusive, quoting the Trade Descriptions Act of 1968 but they have refused to pay a refund.
I have registered my complaint with ABTA and they have offered an arbitration scheme which I have to pay for. Can anyone tell me if this is worth proceeding with and an idea of what I should be claiming? The cost of the holiday was £3,700 for 2 adults for 2 weeks holiday.
Or if you know of an alternative as I am not aware of an Ombudsman for holidays miss-sold.
Thank you.
Just how much did you ask for back? A full refund or a reasonable refund to relate to the lack of 24hr service?
If it was the former, then no I don't recommend you arbitrate, if it was the latter, then you may have a case...0 -
I do not expect to get a full refund as I appreciate there were other costs - flights, transfer, rep, accommodation etc. But I was expecting some sort of a refund as I did not get what was sold to me.0

What did you actually get? Did you literally just get drinks included from 10am-11pm? Were there no other options for inclusive drinks outwith these times? I notice on TripAdvisor someone has mentioned a beach bar that remained open until 2am?Lea0

If you go onto the hotels website and go to download file it provides a descriptive fact sheet which states
'If they prefer, guests can choose any of the dishes from the room service menu at any time of day, or opt for fast food at the Beach Restaurant. Whatever you choose is included in the price of the luxury vacation.'
This would suggest that 24hr room service is included in all inclusive, which would mean the hotel does offer 24 hour all inclusive. To add to this if you scroll right down to bottom of the hotel web page and click all inclusive 24hr it gives details of what is included and what isn't, room service is included, hence the 24hr all inclusive label. In this case I don't think you have been misled.
Whilst it might not be the best 24 hour all inclusive out there, the hotel does provide, or so it states on their website, food and drinks 24 hours a day.0
