'Not fit for purpose' means something totally different under the ''sale of goods act" and doesn't apply here.
although in law a dog is 'property', so I would get expert legal advice here.0 -
But you wouldn't buy a car and return it 2 weeks later saying it's not fit for purpose because it is 3 doors and actually it doesn't fit in with your lifestyle because you have kids so a 5 door would be better.
Likewise with a puppy, they are hard work, and don't necessarily fit in with existing pets - at first. They have to be trained. Whatever, the legal standing here, I would be unimpressed if someone returned a pup to me as not fit for purpose because it doesn't fit in with their lifestyle.0
