RBS Royalties account

Hi
was just wondering whether I could reclaim any of the Gold Royalties charges that RBS put onto my account. Basically I joined RBS many many years back, it was just a 'standard' account with cheque book debit card, I also had a free agreed overdraft. They then introduced their Royalties scheme, I did ask about not having the Roaylties scheme as I would not use it and was told if I didn't have Royalties I would not be able to have the overdraft and would have to pay it back straight away, so for years and years I have paid into a scheme that I neither wanted or ever used.
