ATG theatre card question

Hello,

generally speaking, how many of the shows listed for a theatre can i use this card on? I'm trying to decide if its worthwhile investing in a one.

My local venue only has the TC symbol listed on a few shows, none of which i fancy tbh. Is it strictly what is shown on the website or does it cover most performances?

I've not had one for a few years now (we like plays but there are very few on at our local theatre now, as they tend to show mostly musicals) but when I did you could generally get half price tickets for the first night of shows that ran a week or so and a few quid off other nights, although not for really popular stuff like one off concerts by big name comedians etc.

Also don't forget that you aren't charged a booking fee, which nowadays can be quite a saving.

Our theatre produces a season program booklet (as I suspect most do) which certainly used to clearly list the prices and savings available for ATG card holders for each show - it might be worth getting your hands one one of those rather than looking on line, which I've found tends to be less than transparent on ticket prices.
