iva completion certificate recived about a year ago

Hi I received my iva completion certificate about a year ago I have now claimed PPI and the PPIcompany sent the cheques to my iva supervisor and they won't return the money to me my completion certificate says fully implemented .I would like to know if Iam right in tthinking that fully implemented means that Ihave for filled and completed my iva in full if so why are they saying that because its a PPI claimed cheque it has to go to my creditors I'm confused ?!?!?!

What did your IVA say about this? If you aren't clear, ask your IVA supervisor to point to the clause in your IVA which means they are entitled to the money even if it is received after completion.

!This is what they sent me I'm so disappointed it cost me money to claim the PPI as I did it all myself loads of time sorting it out and telephone calls and letters posted printing etc why did bother any advise to help me get this money help !!!
1.!!!! No more than three months before each anniversary of this arrangement the Supervisor will conduct a review of my income and expenditure.! In the event that my surplus income has increased, whether through increases in my basic pay, or of any routine overtime included in the original surplus calculation, or through a reduction in my personal expenses, I will increase payments from the anniversary of the arrangement by 50% of the increased surplus.! I undertake to provide the Supervisor with any information that she may require to conduct the review and to repay any arrears that arise from any delay in completing the review before the next anniversary of the arrangement.

25.!! The Supervisor’s main function will be to accept my contributions from income and other property forming part of the arrangement and make distributions to creditors.! She shall conduct income and expenditure reviews not more than three months before each anniversary of the arrangement and collect any additional payments that may be due under the terms of this proposal.! She shall have the power to do anything necessary to facilitate this main function. Neither the Supervisor, her firm, nor any of her agents or employees shall incur any personal liability in negligence or otherwise for any act or omission carried out by her or any of them in connection with the arrangement, unless such act or omission constitutes one of dishonesty or a breach of the Supervisor’s obligations under the insolvency legislation or the arrangement. Completion and/or termination of the arrangement shall not affect the Supervisor’s power to carry out such of her functions and to exercise such of her powers as are necessary for her to fully carry out her duties, obligations and responsibilities under the insolvency legislation or the arrangement and to resolve such matters as may have arisen during the course of the arrangement

It is a pity that you wasted that time and effort. On the bright side, at least you didn't employ a PPI claims company, because in that case you would now be owing them money...
