Ah yeah.. One of them has entered all the other Mansfield comps before also. Maybe SB should reiterate in the tweets they are for home fans only..
SB have tweeted about one of the games again, not sure if they are extra tickets or if they have re-drawn one of them?0 -

The prize is in the home end - The tickets are not just for home fans as the competition is open to anyone 18 or over, they would need to change their T&C's before changing their tweets.
(Not sure it would make any difference anyway, you are allowed more than one twitter account so anyone who was that bothered about winning would just open another account to enter for the tickets they wanted)0 -

well you know what I meant, to re-word - maybe they should reiterate in the tweets the tickets are for the home end only.0 -
On another subject, how would they check, if they do, if any of the winners had been banned from attending football games in England and or abroad for being ejected from a ground for whatever reason?Posting is a privilege, not a right. If you can't part with £22 to see your team you're not much of a supporter.0 -

Actually football is a social thing, £22 pound for 1 does not sound like a lot, but there are other necessary things to buy and pay for, bills, food clothing etc. also why would you go to the football alone, I go with my dad in wand then, sometimes we save up other times I try and win tickets because we can't afford to go, one time I was lucky enough to win a season ticket, that season we saved up so we could renew the tickets the following season, but this year because of the prices and the amount of games that get moved for TV coverage that we could not get to, we decided to save up or win tickets to matches, plus with a Now TV box we can watch some games on the TV £9.99 is a lot more affordable than £44 plus half time refreshment. If you had a family that is going to be a lot more.Posting is a privilege, not a right. This is a privately-owned site. Posting is a privilege, not a right. It is amazing how much these things add up to: as you say, Rich, it's the add-ons that mount up, and if you go with family / friends. It's great that there are these competitions available, to give people the opportunity to do something they enjoy and save money. Going to live football is about so much more than just the game, I think - that atmosphere is unbeatable - but whether it's worth £44 vs £10, I'm not convinced...
Sounds like you've got the best of both worlds - the TV matches, and the opportunity to save up to go with the family occasionally.

I don't go to the football alone but I'm not expected to pay for those who go with me.Nobody forces you to buy refreshments at half time, can you not go for 90 minutes without a drink ?Watching your team on the TV is not supporting your team.0 -
Bit mean and may not be the case but your query sounds a bit like sour grapes to me. It would leave a bad taste in MY mouth to do any such thingMAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0

I'd leave it be... That would be like trawling through every baby comp and saying "they aren't having a baby" sometimes peoples reasons for entering aren't as clear cut. My twitter feed is very obvious what football team i support however I also enter anything that I feel I know someone who would benefit from them and wouldn't like to not receive my prize because tickets are in a home end for a club i don't support... I may well just want to see the game as a neutral£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120
