    It will vary by insurer.

    When no garage exists it makes it very hard for the person to claim that the false declaration was accidental in which case the insurer may decide to treat it as fraud and void the policy/ load to CIFAS. Some may decline the claim but allow the policy to stand. If the insurer doesnt rate on the question then they may well even pay the claim despite the false declaration.
