Repaying Credit Card Early...Probably a stupid question

I have a nationwide cashback CC with a £3500 limit and I am currently -£2176. All from this month so no worries about interest.
I am looking to buy a car for £3400 and would like to use my credit card to do so however this will obviously take me over my 3500 limit.
I have the funds to pay the £2176 back off my credit card in my current account.
My question is, if I do an online transfer of £2176 from my current account to the credit card will I incur any charges?
I'm sure this is a stupid question and apologies if it has been asked before but I'm not particularly experienced with this.
Also, before anyone says its a bad idea to buy a car on a credit card...I do have the cash to pay for the car but my credit card gives me cash back so may as well use that facility and pay back next month.

It's often said around here that if a car dealer lets you pay with a credit card without imposing a surcharge it means you didn't haggle hard enough. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??
