I've received a second letter stating that I maybe entitled to PPI compensation but asks why I'm claiming. I can't remember how the salesperson sold it to me or what they said. What should I do??

The letter is only telling you that you have the right to make a complaint of you feel the product was missold to you. If you don't then you don't have to make one. If you can't remember the sale then it's going to be difficult to make a complaint about it.0

The message I got from Martin's recent appearance on TV was that if you get a letter, you are likely to get some money. Have I misunderstood?0

yes. Either you have misunderstood Martin or Martin has it wrong.
The only criteria for a CCL to be issued is whether you had PPI or not. If yes, a letter goes out. if not, it does not.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
