W Media Player skipping?

I have a new machine with Vista. When I play any music through WMP all songs whether from CD or HDD skip 6 times a few seconds from the end! I have all available updates.

Any suggestions?

Simple just don't use it, as there are far better alternatives that you can download for free that do work.

I would make sure you have all the right codecs, may be the speakers? Jus a thought mines are abit jumpy aswel feel like they are ready to blow lol

Speakers are fine. It happens at the same point, the same amount of times at the end of every tune!
