Has anyone used Gelli Baff?

Pretty much as the title says really- i'd like to get my daughter a pack of Gelli Baff as a 2nd birthday present, but £5 is a lot of money for a bath if it's rubbish.
Has anyone used this at all, what's it like (does it really go like thick gloop)? Have your children had any skin reactions to it? Have they loved it or hated it? Also, does anyone know where I can get it a bit cheaper than £4.99- Ebay do have it but with the postage it's works out the same.
Cheers all

Hi Lea
we bought this for our 6 year old a couple of weeks ago. £5 from a local independent toy shop. It really does go thick and gloopy. She had no reaction to it. Absolutely loved it. Don't think you can get it any cheaper, eve on their own website its £5.
Good as a treat once in a while.
hope this helps:D0 -

just used other box of jelli baff we had and boys still love it, just make sure you dont put too much water in to begin with you can always add extra water after if needed. ( dont think i could get into it though it really is slimy uurrgghh)now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0

Hawkins bizzarre is £4.99 which i think is really cheap, espicially when you compare it to the prices on the telly for it!
Our daughters, neices LOVE it and im always buying it! Ours turned to thick gloop and turned back into water easily. If you make it really thick when you add the solution to turn it back into water it doesnt go back into water as easily. If you get the right consistency though it works fab!
I always have to shower the kids off when they have been in it though as its not for bathtime but fun instead....0 -
I thought it was rubbish!!
I bought a box set of 5 colours. To get the consistency shown in the advertisement must have used about 30 boxes!!
One box is good for about 2 inches of bath water. Any more water then it starts to thin right out.
I was good stuff, IF you only use a small amount of water (or use more than one box)
I think it is misdescribed in the TV advert showing that much water with that kind of Gloopiness
The special compound to turn it back into water is simply a bag of salt.0
