Changing energy providers

Hi,I've finally decided to sit down and look at changing my energy providers.
The best dual deal is with Ovo however I could save £3 per month by using Better Energy for my gas.
Just wondered whether it would be better keeping it to 1 company for both as I read that Better Energy don't have the best customer services.
Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Gas & Elec from different suppliers can make sense, depending on how much Gas/ Electric you use.

Go to at least 2 Switch sites and log in for gas only, then when you have the figures do a search for Elec only
Some of the suppliers 'Quality of Service', requires a very tolerant nature and a 'Never give Up' attitude to the problems they foist on customers - Do a comment search on any supplier you are unsure about

    As above.
More people are commenting now on how it can be cheaper to get your utilities from two different companies, rather than one dual fuel contract. In the past, companies have been keen to get the second fuel and offered attractive discounts to customers who choose that. Now however, good old Ofgem have insisted on "simpler" tariffs, so the suppliers have removed the incentive discounts. More work for us customers.
Must send a thank-you card to Ofgem...
