Thanks for that, i might consider that. At the minute my hubbie gets paid weekly and child benefit weekly, and I am monthly, and just dont know what it is, but I cannot seem to work out what to pay what and when. I feel like I am going thru a bit of a crisis, as just cannot get it together like I use to.

You know normally I am like oh its ok something will turn up, but at the moment I am just sick of pinching of peter to pay paul ( think thats the saying ) :(

Friends of mine have been in considerable debt and with CAP are on the way to being out of debt, it does work. There is always someone to speak to if you need to.
  • She would still be in nursery (preschool) for 2.5 days though so still with kids xx

Getting rid of the land-line and the pay TV, halving the Entertainment, and knocking £50 off the Groceries, will get you in the black, just.

Trouble is, you really do need the buildings insurance (isn't it obligatory for the mortgage?), the contents insurance, and the Emergency Fund.

Also, I suspect, some of the blank categories aren't really zero spends.

I wish you luck, summer, as I can see you are really on the edge of a very nasty pit. It's a horrible place to be but you can pull yourself out if you act immediately.

As Bob said, some categories may have spends you haven't even considered. Can't recommend enough getting a notebook and recording every penny you part with. Without this, money often slips away unnoticed.

    Thanks Bob.

The council tax will be £119.00 after I clear the £458 for last years.
Water will be approx £44.00, currently owe £180 for last years.
Just realised I dont pay £15.99 for landline, the tv, internet, phoneline is £35.99 for all 3. The mobile is contract for both our phones and we use this for calls unless freephone then we use landline.

Elec & gas are not in arrears as prepayment meter.

New payment plan for tv licence.

Deffo going to cut down on food spend.

    Well, that's a reduction of £168-25.

When will the arrears be cleared?

So. basically, you are running a land-line phone, just to make the odd Freephone call?
New payment plan for tv licence.

How long before TV Licence goes to £12-12pm?

Have you considered abandoning live TV completely, and cancelling the TV Licence?

I have 4 monthly payments for the council tax, but was going to try and pay more if I can, as this years will be starting next month.

Water will be longer if I stick to the £30 a month.

    Tv Licence reduces in May.

The landline is included in the £35.99 and that is reduction price, as was disconneting, but they offered me a reduction! To just have phone and internet would be more.

I would do without live tv, but dont think the kids would..... is that a way of not having to pay tv licence?

    It is.

You can watch "Catchup", Youtube, DVDs/Blurays, etc., provided you don't watch/record anything as it is being broadcast.

I've been Legally Licence Free for over 4 years now.

My signature shows how much I have saved, by being so.

Dont you miss ordinary TV? I didnt know that though...certainly worth knowing though. Think the kids would be the problem and maybe hubbie.......I hardly ever watch the tv.
