Tire pressure

I will be driving with around 300kg in the back, now do I have to adjust the tyre pressure for this (less or more) or keep to the recommended pressure levels from the manufacturer.
have a look in your handbook and it will give various pressures for your tyres
you want a figure for fully loaded and it will be a higher pressure than normal running light loaded0 -

even a small car has a reasonable max load rate
I thing a fiesta has a max load rate of 480 KG so a driver and 300kg load should be ok unless it is a really small car0 -
The sticker in your car showing tyre pressures will be able to tell you. As stated, look for the fully loaded setting and if you don't have auto headlight adjustment then you may need adjust these too.
What car is it?0 -

Americans maybe
100kg is - what? - 16 stone
Anyway, there'll probably be a sticker in the door jamb giving you all the pressures etc.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
I'm just under 20 stone at 6'5", and a good 80% of my friends already exceed 16 stone, what's the issue?Americans maybe
100kg is - what? - 16 stoneUndersteer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -
Its a Peugeot partner kombi 1.6.
Says 1780 kg is the car max weight with load.
The car weight is 1065 kg.
So I should be able to carry 715 kg?.0 -

Yes, that will take you up to the gross weigh but there will be four weights quotes.
Front Axel
Rear Axel
Gross weight
Train weight
You can't exceed any of them and I bet you don't know what weight sits in the rear axel when the vehicle is empty.
What are you carrying and can you avoid it all sitting on the back end?0 -

Mainly boxes. I have put all the lighter boxes at the back, so hopefully that will be fine.0
